Noelle Sadler Appointed As Interim CEO

Big news! Goal Five, the soccer inspired apparel brand for her, announced that Noelle Sadler has joined the company as its interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective September 1, 2023. Ann Kletz, Co-Founder and Co-CEO, and Lindsey Jones, Co-CEO, have transitioned to Goal Five’s Board of Directors, where they will work closely with Sadler and continue to enthusiastically support and promote the company and its mission to celebrate, elevate and inspire female athletes’ greatness.

“Noelle brings the full package as a leader. Her expertise spans executive leadership roles at large public companies, to co-founding a recommerce start-up. As a life-long soccer player, she also brings her love for the beautiful game, along with her passion to grow the women’s game and push for gender equity in the sport. As a leader who has grit and an athlete’s mindset, Noelle is poised to move the company to the next level and beyond,” said Kletz.

“Bringing on a leader of Noelle’s caliber reflects the profound growth the global women’s soccer game is experiencing today,” said Keely Wachs, Goal Five Co-Founder and Board Chair.  “By reimagining soccer apparel to fit the specific needs of female athletes, Goal Five has been at the forefront of this change.  Under Noelle’s leadership, we will build on the many accomplishments of Ann and Lindsey, and continue to drive innovation to support this dynamic and inspiring community.  We’re thankful for all of Ann’s and Lindsey’s contributions, and look forward to their continued leadership as members of the Board.” 

Noelle brings twenty years of experience overseeing marketing, merchandising, content, and creative across a variety of industries, including fashion, beauty, recommerce, and media, all with a focus on helping consumer brands better connect with and serve their customers. Prior to Goal Five, she held Chief Marketing Officer roles at thredUP (Nasdaq TDUP), one of the largest online resale platforms, and Lulus (Nasdaq LVLU), an online women’s fashion brand and retailer. She also held various leadership roles at MAC Cosmetics and Havas Media in New York, Paris, and Barcelona. As interim CEO, she will report to the Goal Five Board of Directors.
